Why do we love this case?
The Barossa produces a myriad of varietals, and a myriad of varietal expressions. But none so famous, so internationally revered as the iconic Barossa Shiraz. Plummy, bold, densely rich fruited and as deeply inky-red as the soil they spring from. This selection celebrates that style with wines that speak loudly and proudly of place.
1x Sorby Adams The Thing Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Highly awarded, highly sought after shiraz from an iconic-for-a-reason Barossa producer. And, a 9/10 rated vintage no less! It’s really no surprise that these wines took multiple top gongs. Sourced from two nearly 90-year-old vineyards, this is the absolute top of the range shiraz from a family-owned Barossa producer. It’s powerful and opulent, but maintains a certain grace that keeps everything in balance. There’s no surprises here with the flavour profile, an expression of blackberry, plum, chocolate, spices and cedar. After five years in bottle, it’s drinking beautifully now but has another decade of prime left in it for those patient types. This is truly one of Australia's best.

1x Hewitson Monopole Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Gather around mofos. As there are such limited bottles produced of this transcendently beautiful wine, we wanted to put our arms around each other and simply breathe in the awe and privilege to be in the presence of such an incredible, heritage shiraz. We could tell you all about why it’s so special, but that would be giving too much away. What we can tell you, is this Barossan beaut’ is rare and wondrous; black fruits, dark spice, red earth, creamy dark chocolate velvety texture with a hint of muscle that builds with every kind of forest berry, intermingling with firm but fully ripe tannins. Truly, truly scrumptious.

1x Lou Miranda Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz 2017
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
The Barossa shiraz we’ve all been waiting for - the newest vintage of Lou Miranda’s single vineyard shiraz is back and isn’t here to mess around! Handcrafted from vines planted on stoney, clay & premium soil, this Barossa Valley dreamboat is laid out with the soil restricting the growth, channeling the grapes to be highly concentrated as they ripen. An old school shiraz, this wine has been matured in American oak barrels for FOUR YEARS, allowing for those juicy juicy tannins to fully develop and soften. Intense, bold and not afraid to stand out, this mofo fave has massive fruit mixed with massive oak. With flavours of deep plum, dark fruits and a creamy vanilla kick on top, you don’t need to hold back on the food flavours to pair. Go big, go rich, go hearty and have yourself a lavish time.
You’d pay $120 full price.
