Why do we love this wine?
The Hunter Valley has been crafting exquisite examples of shiraz for some time now with a history dating back to the early 1800s, making it one of Australia's earliest wine growing regions. The distinctive Hunter style is a result of the unique climactic conditions and a plethora of old vines with some of the oldest vine stock in the world. The 2007 vintage was warm and dry with perfect conditions producing perfectly mature and ripe shiraz with a firm tannin structure that was destined to age gracefully.
