Why do we love this wine?
Pinot meunier is famous. Okay, maybe not so famous on the wine’s label but, it’s famous in Champagne, being one of the three main grape varieties used to make the world-famous sparkling wines. On the other side of the world is Middle Earth from New Zealand, and they grow pinot meunier to make into a crisp, bright, complex rosé. It is wonderfully fresh with hibiscus, grapefruit and tea leaves. Expect vibrancy, this wine is crying out for a spell by the poolside. The perfect weekend wine.
