Why do we love this wine?
This elite chardonnay from a 5 Red Star Producer was handpicked with only the best parcels of fruit making the final cut. After a gentle whole bunch press, the wine was transferred to a combination of brand new and seasoned french oak barrels for a good nine months. This wine is precise, clean and crisp with elegant aromatics of nectarine, green apple and orange blossom. A full flavoured palate boasts citrusy vibes and ripe peaches surrounded by a lingering oak spice. It'll only develop further in the bottle, so if you like to test your patience, you're in good hands here.
